MangiaTorre, the popular street food festival, returns to Tar on 6  and 7 June 2025. From 7 pm, the school playground transforms into a foodie haven with two evenings of delicious bites, live music and laid-back vibes. A variety of food trucks will serve fresh seafood, grilled meats and creative vegetarian dishes, blending Istrian, coastal and Mediterranean flavours.

The soundtrack to the festival includes Le Monde and Vasco Tribute on Friday, followed by Funbox Band and a spectacular Lady Gaga Show on Saturday, guaranteeing entertainment for all ages. MangiaTorre is more than food,  it’s a celebration of summer, music and good company. Gather your friends and family and join the fun in Tar!

From 27 to 29 June 2025, Olga Ban Park transforms into Gelato Park – World of Ice Cream Wonders, a sweet summer festival,  packed with fun for all ages. While little ones will be the most excited, there’s plenty to delight grown-ups too, from playful moments to delicious frozen treats.

All activities take place in the park and are completely free of charge. A variety of ice cream makers will be offering their creations, with special promotional prices available on selected flavours. Join us in Poreč for a weekend of flavour and fun at Gelato Park, the last weekend of June!

Krk Music Fest – A Celebration of Music and Gastronomy

Krk is ready to celebrate World Music Day (also the first day of summer) and kick off summer with the lively Krk Music Fest from 20 to 22 June.. Enjoy a variety of musical performances, choirs, folklore ensembles, DJs, and music-themed films in the charming old town centre. You can enjoy a free concert on the Krk waterfront each evening- Level One Band will perform on 20 June, followed by the 4 Tenors on 21 June, with Velvet Dress-  a U2 tribute closing the festival on the final evening.

Also, don’t miss the Krk Food Truck Festival on the waterfront, serving up delicious street food. Best of all, admission to all events is free, so bring your friends and family for a fun-filled time!

Kantuni on Rab

Summer in the old town of Rab comes alive with Kantuni, from 19 to 25 June, a unique cultural experience that transforms its stone streets and squares into magical corners filled with music, lights, enticing aromas and warm gatherings. Each evening, multiple locations host relaxed, beautifully designed events featuring live music and exceptional local food.

Midsummer Scene Festival u Dubrovniku

Midsummer Scene is an international theatre festival launched in 2014. Its programme is centred around nightly musical and theatrical performances, staged at one or more locations throughout the festival. What sets Midsummer Scene apart is its focus on English-language productions performed under the stars at one of the most stunning open-air venues in the world,  the Lovrjenac Fortress. This unique setting offers visitors an unforgettable experience that blends theatrical magic with the rich historical and cultural heritage of Dubrovnik.

There is currently no other project quite like it in Croatia. The festival is designed for all lovers of site-specific theatre, whether they are visitors to the city or Dubrovnik locals.

This year’s Midsummer Scene from 22 June to 6 July, highlights The School for Scandal by Richard Brinsley Sheridan, a brilliant satire on reputation and gossip, performed for the first time in Croatia. Directed by West End talent Fred Gray, the show features an award-winning British cast, with striking design by Roberto Surace and lighting by Aleksandar Mondecar.

WTA Makarska Open Hosted by Valamar – Tennis on the Adriatic

The WTA Makarska Open hosted by Valamar returns from 2 to 8 June, bringing top-tier women’s tennis and a vibrant side programme to the stunning seaside courts of Makarska. Now in its 19th edition,  and the fourth held at Valamar’s beautiful coastal tennis centre, this WTA 125 tournament draws some of the world’s highest-ranked players.
