Families began arriving at Arba Resort throughout Sunday afternoon. As the sun dipped into the sea, the first evening brought everyone together at the scenic Arba 772 restaurant. Over a delicious dinner, guests were welcomed by the hotel manager, Ms. Tatjana Glamatović, who introduced the program and shared the vision behind Arba Family Moments: a curated experience for families to reconnect, recharge, and rediscover joy.

The second day started with a cheerful family breakfast, followed by tailored morning experiences. Moms enjoyed a relaxing yoga session, while kids explored fun and games at the vibrant Maro Club, and dads had the option to take a scenic bike ride around the island.

In the soft morning light, the influencer moms gathered for a deeply grounding yoga session led by local yoga instructor Neven Elezović. The session offered a rare opportunity to reconnect with breath, body, and self. His calm voice and professional approach made even first-time yogis feel welcome and supported. As the mothers moved through each pose, there was a shared sense of calm and solidarity, a peaceful contrast to their often fast-paced, public-facing lives.

Afterwards, the group explored the hotel’s serene wellness area, a calm, thoughtfully designed space that invited stillness and self-care. The children were all smiles during the workshop, fully immersed in the hands-on experience of shaping and decorating the island’s beloved traditional cake. Their enthusiasm was contagious as they proudly showed off their sweet creations, turning the workshop into a joyful, delicious memory they won’t soon forget.

“Mom Talk” by Petra Ninčević

The evening offered something special just for moms: an inspiring and intimate “Mom Talk” by Petra Ninčević, hosted at the stunning Felixar Pool Bar, under the stars. The cocktail dress code matched the relaxing atmosphere, blending seaside chic with heartfelt conversation. The conversation touched on motherhood, entrepreneurship, boundaries, balance, and the importance of community and self-care. Our guests emphasised the importance of following your dreams and nurturing your hobbies. Interestingly, it was precisely those hobbies that became the spark for their entrepreneurial journeys, and what began as an emotional outlet gradually grew into a true calling.

Motherhood is deeply rewarding but often overwhelming, making it hard to find true balance. As one guest put it, “We can’t have everything, at least not all at once”, but with moments for ourselves and a supportive community, that balance becomes possible.

After another nourishing family breakfast, Tuesday morning turned thoughtful with a talk on parenting in the digital age by Jasmina Cerovec, mag. praesc. educ., helping moms navigate the evolving challenges of raising children today. 

Parenting in Today’s Fast-Paced and Digital World

Parenting today is shaped by rapid technological changes, increased screen time, and more structured activities. Education and mutual support are key allies in creating a safe and stimulating environment for children. 

 “In today’s fast-paced, digital world, parenting brings many challenges,” Cerovec shared. “But it should never be a burden we carry alone. At Arba Resort, we created a space for open dialogue, shared experience, and mutual support.”

Unstructured play plays a vital role in children’s education by fostering creativity, critical thinking, and self-directed learning. Through free play, as Jasmina Cerovec explained to our guests, children explore their interests, solve problems, and develop social skills naturally and engagingly. At the same time, unstructured play encourages responsibility by promoting independence, self-regulation, and decision-making. Without constant adult guidance, children learn to manage their emotions, navigate conflicts, and take ownership of their actions, laying a strong foundation for personal growth and lifelong learning.

The afternoon provided more space to unwind: poolside, beachside, or spa-side – before diving into an empowering mindfulness workshop for moms, led by expert Iva Brčić. With kids engaged elsewhere, this hour created a calm oasis for mothers to refocus and recharge.

“At the workshop, participants had the opportunity to slow down, tune into their own needs, and connect with other mothers. This kind of support for women in their role as mothers is truly invaluable – and when it takes place in such an inspiring setting, it becomes even more meaningful,” said Iva Brčić, workshop leader and educator.
