In designing their wellness concept, Valamar incorporated the Mediterranean way of life into every last detail. We tried out the Balance Mediterranean SPA by Valamar at the Valamar Diamant Hotel in Poreč, one of the Valamar‘s eight facilities to feature this new wellness concept this season. Aside from offering you a feeling of ease and relaxation, the Roman Wine Therapy, Venetian Golden Tales, Parenzana Energy Path and Scent of Italy rituals will allow you to experience the full story of your destination in a special way. Roman Wine Therapy is a hedonistic ritual inspired by ancient times. It begins with a creamy grape peeling, continues with a wine bath and is rounded off with a face and body massage with grape oil that will take you back to Roman times, when people enjoyed themselves for hours in spectacular baths.

The hedonism of the time went hand in hand with good wine, the essence of which is interwoven into this wine therapy ritual, which you can experience at the Valamar Diamant Hotel. The other rituals at the wellness centre are also connected with the most important historical and natural heritage of the region. Venetian Golden Tales is inspired by pure gold, which was frequently used in the architecture of the Venetian empire, and which is also used in the treatment. The entire experience also includes an interactive map through which guests can continue their experience even after the ritual ends by exploring the historical and natural heritage of Poreč that inspired it. 

Authentic rituals inspired by nature are also offered. Try the Organic Olive Pulp Body ritual, which was inspired by the tradition of olives and olive oil that has been present in Istria since ancient times. This 100% organic ritual includes a soft, mild body peeling and an olive oil massage, after which your skin will be beautifully hydrated and protected against aging. They‘ve prepared another great surprise at Valamar Diamant Hotel for the youngest guests, who can enjoy fun treatments just for them with the scents of vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. Teens also have their own special treatment, as do expectant mothers with the „Mums-to-Be“ programmes.
